The Museum of the Cape Fear will host a new temporary exhibit which is part of the America 250 series. "Making Our Voice Heard: North Carolinians Fighting for Civil Rights" tells the story of a few North Carolinians who raised their voices to call out injustice and help all Americans to fully participate in our democratic society. This exhibit highlights national figures and lesser-know individuals who have been pivotal in the fight for civil rights for all Americans including Indigenous Peoples, women, and people with disabilities.
The exhibit is open to the public 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and runs from Tuesday, August 11 through midday Friday, August 28.
