Step back in time to join Fayetteville's Poe family for an evening of Victorian Halloween games, ghost stories, fortune-telling, and North Carolina folklore in this immersive, family-friendly, living history experience at the 1897 Poe House.
This seasonal, interactive tour of the 1897 Poe House features actors from Fayetteville's Sweet Tea Shakespeare theater company portraying historical figures at a period Halloween party.
Tours are approximately 45-minutes and will require participants to stand the entire time and ascend and descend a flight of stairs.
This tour discusses common Halloween themes including magic, witches, ghosts, and some historically-rooted religious themes.
Performances will take place October 16–17 and October 29–30, from 6:00–10:00 p.m., with the final performance beginning at 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person and can be pre-purchased on Eventbrite. PLEASE NOTE the Tour Start Time for the tickets you purchase.
